  • Re: Amazon Affiliate HTML code and Text/HTML module

Nope, no form tags. The custom module is only for DNN3. I thought about the separate html page and using an IFrame module. I guess, I'll have to go that route.

  • Amazon Affiliate HTML code and Text/HTML module

Has anybody been able to use Amazon's Affiliate HTML code with the Text/HTML module? I'm using DNN 4.0.2 and I haven't been able to get the html to display at all. I'm guessing it probably has to do with the iframe tags that Amazon uses.

  • NDoc web files and DNN IFrame

I'm hosting an open sourced .NET project on a DNN installation. I've decided to put the API for the application's framework online. I'm using NDoc to export the documentation in MSDN style. I tried using the IFrame to load these files, but for some reason, the index page takes over the whole page, instead of just appearing inside the IFrame. I suspect that this is probably a Javascript issue, but I'm no Javascript expert. Has anybody dealt with this issue before?

  • Can't login in my environment

I'm trying to introduce DNN3 to my current employer. I have installed DNN3 for several sites on my network at home, so I have some experience setting it up. I can't seen to get DNN3 running at work. My setup is as follows: MSDE 2000, new database, new DNN3 install, and Windows XP Pro. My employer uses Windows Authentication on all internal systems. I got DNN3 to install using this connection string: "User ID=sa;Password=xxxxx;Initial Catalog=OperationsDNN;Data Source=(local)" I can't login after

  • Re: DNN3.0.9 - An unhandled error has occurred.

"Rather than use the previously commented out line can those of you experiencing this issue try this fix. Replace the offending line in Localization.vb with Dim filePath As String = Common.Globals.ApplicationMapPath & Localization.SupportedLocalesFile.Substring(1).Replace("/", "\") There are good reasons not to use the Context." That didn't work. Happy's solution did the trick.

  • Re: DNN 3: How to install custom modules?

Thanks a bunch! Ahhh, I see. Part of my problem was that I was looking at that page using Firefox. I loaded the page in IE and then I could see the drop down. I coudn't see the dropdown in Firefox. Is this a known issue?

  • DNN 3: How to install custom modules?

I've been running a couple sites using 2.1.2 and now I wanted to take a look at 3.0.9. I got it installed, and it is running fine. For the life of me, I can't find any information about installing custom modules. I've read all the files with doc and txt extensions in the zip file, and I just searched these forums for previous posts. No dice. I tried login as a host, but the file manager doesn't show any options like it does in 2.1.2.

  • File Manager access to non admins

Is there a way to let users upload files using the built in File Manager? I know there are 3rd party modules that do uploads, but I don't need anything fancy at the moment. I'm trying to delegate some stuff to other people that are not admins. I need for some developers in my team to be able to upload code examples and prototyps to one of the download pages we have. I'm using DNN 2.1.2 Thanks! Hector
