SqlServer Membership Password - create one without knowing password.
Has anybody got any sample code that will write directly to the table to create the hash+salt that will work with the membership provider so i can update it manually. As microsoft in there wisdom dont allow you to change a password unless you know the existing. From an admin thats logged in their need to be able to override this, there is a MembershipUser.ResetPassword() but whenever you call that it moans about the answer being null. There has to be a decent solution just wondering what people have

Re: Display issues with width and 100%
The disired behavior is for the webpart to be 100% width as its in a <td> that has 100% set and the table has 100% set too. Just tried it on normal webparts get the same issue: <% @ Page Language ="VB" AutoEventWireup ="false" CodeFile ="Default.aspx.vb" Inherits ="_Default" %> <! DOCTYPE html PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD XHTML 1.1//EN" "http://www.w3.org/TR/xhtml11/DTD/xhtml11.dtd"> < html xmlns ="http://www.w3.org/1999/xhtml" > < head runat ="server"> < title > WebParts

Display issues with width and 100%
Im currently having problems with width on controls i've got my webparts in a table with the width and columns set to 100%, i've tried setting everything to 100% but nothing seems to help. Im using fredriks webparts wrapper, the only way I can get it using more is setting them to something like 700px then it seems to like it, however, as im running this part of the system in a frame i want it to use 100% of the screenspace. < table border ="0" width ="100%"> < tr > < td width ="100

GridView Checkbox Select All
I have a gridview, the first column is a checkbox. I want to add to the header a checkbox that selects/deselects all checkbox items in the grid. Is this possible with the gridview, if so can someone post some sample code?

Re: Webpart titles show up as "untitled"
No probs - you'd probably have to build a custom webpart that inherits WebPartZone. If you havent seen fredriks webpart components go download it - its really cool http://www.gotdotnet.com/workspaces/workspace.aspx?id=65fa26c3-a62a-49d6-895d-422272e53a0c . The article he wrote about it is over at http://fredrik.nsquared2.com/viewpost.aspx?PostID=258 . Forgot to say you then just edit your chrome template and away you go.

Re: Webpart titles show up as "untitled"
In your zonetemplate where you have your control add Title='what you want to call it' its not in the intellisense but it'll work.

Viewstate lost on postback with webzone and dropdownlist
If you choose and item from ddlEventHeader it looses the whole list on postback. Is there a workaround to this as it has to be a bug in beta2..... <code> < form id ="form1" runat ="server"> < div > < asp : WebPartManager ID ="WebPartManager1" runat ="server"> </ asp : WebPartManager > < asp : WebPartZone ID ="WebPartZone1" runat ="server"> < ZoneTemplate > < asp : DropDownList ID ="ddlEventHeader" runat ="server" AutoPostBack ="true"> </ asp : DropDownList
