  • Framework 1.1 SP1 and DNN: File Upload Breaks.

Hello Folks, I am experiencing problems with MS' latest service pack for the .NET Framework. I think they released it today in via Windows Update. At this point, the problem seems to reside with the File Manager module -- I cannot upload or delete files from my DNN site. Has anyone run into this? Has anyone figured out a way to resolve this? Take care, Andy

Just to add a comment to Tam's suggestion. I believe that if you attempt to bypass the logon with this method, you need to make sure your IE clients have your server listed in the Trusted zone or that you adjust the internet zone to allow autologins. However, the fomer is likely a safer option. There is a specific setting in IE's security options that allows automatic login with credentials which is set in the Intranet Zone. • Re: DotNetNuke 2.1.2 Authentication beta 2

Everything is working like a charm. However, I have 1 worry bead from the documentation: “NOTE: The Active Directory password is stored in the DotNetNuke Users table, however all logins to the portal in this authentication Mode are validated by Active Directory. Also, to change passwords for AD users, you must change the password in Active Directory and then in the DotNetNuke Users table independently in the present release of this code.” Here are my questions: 1.) Since users validate against AD

  • Converting from Access to SQL Server

Hello Folks, I would like to convert a 2.1.2 version of DNN running against Access to run against SQL server. DNN w/ Access appears a bit sluggish Can this be done without too much trouble? I can easily up-size the Access database to SQL server but did notice that the table names are different. Any suggestions or warnings would be appreciated. Thanks.

  • Release 2.1.2 Error

Upon upgrading from 2.0.4 to 2.1.2, I have found that the Text/HTML module does not function properly. 2 issue come to life: 1.) A ton of lines are automatically added to the beginning of the html page whenever you add new content or edit an existing html module. 2.) The Rich editor is missing buttons which were present in 2.0.4. Something is up with this default module. If anyone has any information on why or a workaround, it would be appreciated. Thanks. Andy
