  What web.config items were missing? I'm having the same issue and i've compared the web.config to several versions to make sure everything is in.

  We have the same problem here. Originally we had vs.net 2005 and the extension for Web Application Projects via a different link. When we applied VS.NET 2005 SP1, it said to remove the previous extension and then to re-install SP so that's what we did. However, afterwards when opening up a converted solution, half the projects didn't display namre, but folder path to where the csproj was located. Some machines have been corrected while others haven't and we haven't been able to figure out why it
