Build a XHTML MP (WAP 2.0) mobile site using Visual Stuido 2008 / 2005 ?
Hi! I see lots of posts here are about how to create a mobile site using Visual Stuido 2008 or 2005, but I did not see anybody was talking about the mobie site should be a WAP 2.0 but not WAP 1.1/1.2 mobile site . Because nowaday more and more new mobile phones support WAP 2.0. WAP 2.0 changed to XHTML MP, no more WML only. But seems the MS mobile controls are still using old machenism. The output rendered page is NOT a XHTML MP page. I submitted the same questions 3 years ago. but seems Microsoft

No, I have installed SP1. You can search online, many people said MS still have not fixed this kind of bug (Visual Basic internal compiler error). the only way to resolve seems call Microsoft and pay money .

MS! If you don't want lost users, Pls support .MOBI !
MS Web application can not create a mobi site under .MOBI rules! MS regular asp.net can not create a "eligible" .MOBI site. MS! If you don't lost lots of users, pls consider .MOBI rules! related link: http://dev.mobi

How to make page size smaller when use AJAX control?
I use ASP.NET + AJAX to create a .mobi page, since there are some special rules for .mobi webistes such as a size of web page, the page size is a very important option for their testing. (If a .mobi size gets over 3 score of 5, then this website is a good .mobi size, otherwise, maybe this .mobi will be deleted on some day) I wanna like to create a digital clock on my page so I have to use AJAX , However, if I add AJAX controls, my page seems very big because when I test my page, I just got 2 score

Why NO .mobi rules ?
I have registered some .mobi domain names. Recently I wanna develop them. I tried to use VS 2005 Mobile Web Application to create some .mobi websites. I created a very simple Mobile web application like just put One mobile textbox control on the page and then upload my remote .net hosing space. it works surely. however, When I tried to test whether this website obey .MOBI rules (via http://ready.mobi/index.html), the testing website display error message : "Your markup is not supported by the ready
