Please, how do I use AutoCompleteExtender without a web service?
I want to experiment with the AutoCompleteExtender, and I believe I can set the servicemethod property of the textbox and leave the servicepath property blank to use a function on the page rather than a web service. Can someone confirm if this is so, and also help me with the declaration of the function (in VB). I.e if my servicemethod is called populatebox how should the function populatebox be declared? Does it return an arraylist? Do I need any attributes such as WebMethod? etc. Thanks!

Please help me get my updatepanel back!!
I have just installed the Atlas Ajax beta and the Atlas control kit into my WVD, but then mistakenly DELETED the AJAX EXTENSIONS tab from the toolbox. I still have a toolbox tab labelled Atlas Ajax Control Toolbox with all the extenders etc., but no longer have the basic updatepanel, scriptmanager, etc I can still add <asp:Updatepanel into the source, but would like it back in the toolbox. I believe the "missing" items are in the GAC, namespace Microsoft.Web.UI. But how do I add them back in please

Docs 4.0.3 - disappointing
I have just downloaded the "new" 4.0.3 docs, and find that all the documents are dated Dec 2005, and most of the changes seem to have been made in Aug 05! Frankly it seems to me this is disappointing (sorry to grumble). There has been some excellent stuff posted in the forums about starter kits, building a module, installing clean version of DNN 4 etc, and yet the docs have never been updated. So new users still make the same old mistakes, and fill these forums with the same old errors that tie up

Finding the module title? Should be easy?
Can someone please tell me how to programatically set the title of the module I am displaying. For example in the page_load event? I am sure it must be possible, but cannot find the property. Is it Me.something.Title? Thanks John B

Re: Skinning Examples
Handholding for dummies? Have you subscribed to dnncreative yet? I gave you the link previously. It will give you a load of videos which is excellent training and it covers skinning from scratch as well as other topics such as creating a DNN module. Dnn4 skinning is no different to DNN 3 skinning in principle. John Stodden
