Now able to send authenticated SMTP mail via remote server
Yes, I can now send authenticated mail via a remote smtp server! I dont know who to thank for the code (it was on one of the asp.net/blogs) You can read it up on my blog at http://stormsoftware.net/blogs/russ/posts/166.aspx

Can't remove, repair or update VS .NET 2003
I have found loads of posts but no resolution to a setup problem whose symptom is a setup failed message. In my case I had VS .NET 2003 running quite happily on a W2k box, with several host directories in IIS and SQL 7. Then I installed SQL 2k and Commerce Server, and Visual Studio wouldn't load, it just crashed out repeatedly. So, I switched to 2003 server. Everything was fine until I changed the adminstrator password and tried a different user account, when I discovered the same problems. VS wont

OPML list is empty - everything else works great :-)
Hi Scott, Hi All Firstly, this is fabulous software, you have done a great service for your fellows and I thank-you. It seems that I have got most things working, except: 1. My OPML list is empty - just <opml><body /></opml> when I have several posts and more that one blog 2. The Bloggers (Posts, Last update) list that should appear below, is also empty. I guess these may be related. 3. I'm unable to send email via SMTP, although I suspect this is because I'm running a mail server
