  • Re: What's New Module from Efficion (free)

Dave, Just tried using the What's New module and ran up gainst a series of errors. If you use the module with the default settings everything works fine; but the moment you try and change any of the settings (ie: Number of Items Displayed or cut-off period) it decides to throw an error: ================================ DotNetNuke.Services.Exceptions.ModuleLoadException: Cast from string "" to type 'Integer' is not valid. ---> System.InvalidCastException: Cast from string "" to type 'Integer' is

I do have a couple of question now that I've got this module up and running. 1. is it posible to some how remove the email address in the From field - or at least replace the actual address with something like this <******> 2. the background color of the newsgroup list doesn't pick up on the skin color .. can this be adjusted in the CSS file ? Thanks again for providing this module.

gettin' much closer here :) I have it listing the groups I want and you can view the messages but when it comes to post a new messgae to a group I get a critical error. When you click on Post Message from the edit screen it goes through the motions of posting and the the page displays the listing page (I think) but at the top of the page is: A critical error has occurred Object reference not set to an instance of an object And then just below it is the Section heading - no listing of groups. the

  • Re: Editing module.css

As a user of DNN who has a tendancy to "tweak" the CSS settings I think this is a great idea and one that module developers will take a serious look at adding.

  • another DNN powered site

pretty well finished the change from GCN to DotNetNuke and I am quite pleased with the results so far. I still have a bit tweaking to do with the CSS for the skins and modules until I am totally happy but I figured I'd throw the URL into what should be a growing number of new DNN sites. • Re: Time Tracker and Issue Tracker

I have recently tried to run IssueTracker as a virtual directory and had some partial success but I have run up against a serious problem with logging into either one (Admin mode for the GCN part and straight login in the IssueTracker section) When I try to log into IssueTracker as Admin it says it can't find resources .. if I log in as an admin account it sometimes works but at that point if I try to log into the website (GCN) as admin I get (don't set to remember or you have to go in and delte
