  • Re: Problems so far with DNN 3.2.0

Had issues upgrading a test site with 3rd party modules. Issue was trust related and required setting web.config to Full trust level. I suspect others will have issues with upgrades. Maybe this point should be made a little more visible. <trust level="Medium" originUrl=" http://localhost/ .*" /> Did another host install into the same db using object qualifier. I can not login as host or admin. Keeps saying invalid password. I was able to register and created a few accounts in the new installation

  • Re: Blowery Compression and Open ViewState

FYI: Tech Suppor Dialogt: btw: thank you Andreas for your help! ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ HttpCompression and Open-ViewState do not work together. We have had two more customers with the same issue, and we researched it, but unfortunately decompression happens after ViewState has already been processed, therefore all we have access to is a compressed viewstate that is not usefull. In the previous two cases, our customers found that Open-ViewState

  • Re: FINAL SOLUTION: Multiple DotNetNuke 3.1.1 installations into the single database

Geert, 3.1.1 release has issues with object qualifier and primary keys relating to the events tables. As a result the first host installs fine but as soon as you try to install another host into an existing db it errors when creating the base portal. • Blowery Compression and Open ViewState

Trying to get both to work: Can only get one or the other to work. when i try both the framework renders blank pages. Also does blowery support friendly url's? http://www.port80software.com/support/tools/compresscheck.asp Seems to report all friendly url's with a size of 4040 uncompressed when using compression. When I turn it off it or call page by default.aspx?tabid=xxx ir reports the proper size compressed. Do friendly url's work as redirects? Seems the ViewState savings is small compared to the

  • Re: FINAL SOLUTION: Multiple DotNetNuke 3.1.1 installations into the single database

Is this a solution for upgrades as well as new installs? What about 3.01.01.sqldataprovider and 3.01.00.sqldataprovider scripts? I think you'll still have problems without fixing the following: from 3.01.00: ALTER TABLE {databaseOwner}{objectQualifier}EventLog WITH NOCHECK ADD CONSTRAINT [PK_EventLogMaster] PRIMARY KEY CLUSTERED ( [LogGUID] ) ON [PRIMARY] GO ALTER TABLE {databaseOwner}{objectQualifier}EventLogConfig WITH NOCHECK ADD CONSTRAINT [PK_EventLogConfig] PRIMARY KEY CLUSTERED ( [ID] ) ON
