  Finally got totally cheesed off with this and not having any luck have uninstalled VWD, VBE, SQLExpress and MSDE stripped everything out of the registry relating to the above, deleted framework v2.x removed IIS. reinstalled IIS then installed SQLPE with tools, installed framework 1.1 updated from website restarted, recreated Db set up connection string in release.config renamed as web.config, then browse to localhost/1 (site) then get this Server Error in '/1' Application.   Hi Guys has anyone managed to install DNN on a windows XP sp2 platform? I've been trying for about 4 weeks, I've installed DNN on win2k server, Pro with SQL server and with MSDE, without any problems, now i have the need to have it installed on a laptop for testing and so on. I've unzipped DNN, set virtual directory, installed MSDE with username and password from command prompt changed release.config to web.config applied connection string as i have done countless number of times. • page load error

  Just a quick question on this. On exporting the content will this also export the users for this portal? as i have one of my child site that over 100 users which i don't want to lose how can i export the users as well Pat

• Cant load Parent portal

  Hi Guys I've got a slight problem whilst working on my parent portal last week I had the usual error in "/" application error appear on screen, no problem i thought, now everytime i try to browse the portal i get a runtime error on screen All my child sites are working fine without any problems the only problem is the parent site information below can anyone suggest how i can sort this without doing a DB recovery thanks in advance Pat AssemblyVersion : 03.02.02 Method : DotNetNuke.UI.UserControls

• 3.2.2 Runtime error

  Hi All Recently upgarded to 3.2.2. now i have a slight problem, all my existing child sites are working fine but i have just setup a new one, I go to site settings i am presented with "Server Error in '/' Application" this also happens when ever i go to module settings the DNN app is hosted with WH4L can anyone shed some light on this one?   Hi All just an update; finally managed to get everything across, backup db on home server, zip portal, ftp zip to web and ftp db to sql server, create blank db then restore to blank, unzip portal set server ip uid name and password, set application, check can access db with entman, change allias. now have red mark on head and dent in desk now i'm getting this error " SQL Server does not exist or access denied. " i can see the DB i can edit the DB that must mean that it does exist what have i missed

  Hi Jim thanks for the heads up I'll give it a try, i'll let you know how I get on, have changed most of the portalalias enteries in the Db just need to get temp URL removed thanks Pat

  Hi Guys just picked some space with WH4L and need to transfer an existing portal complete with children so far i've created the folder with the same name as on existing server transfered the data from within, now all files and folders are on the WH4L server, then connected to mssql server at WH4L with entman then imported all data from existing database, changed the webconfig to point at new server IP,Db name, user name and PW. Now i'm getting "Server Error in '/' Application any idea what am I doing
