Re: Is there a script available to create the stored procedures and tables for the Personal Web site database?
Never mind....the scripts are actually part of the project itself. You just have to know where to look. thanks

Re: Is there a script available to create the stored procedures and tables for the Personal Web site database?
thanks but that's not it. I am unable to attach to the original .MDF file from the Personal web site. So, I am recreating the database. Your stored procedure assumes that I have access to the database already and I don't. I think this might require the intervention of the originally developers of the starter kit?

Is there a script available to create the stored procedures and tables for the Personal Web site database?
I downloaded and installed the personal web site. However, I can't attach to the database because it was apparently created with someone with a user name of "jking". So, I get an error message from SQL Server whenever I try to attach to the Personal.MDF So, I decided to simply create a new database inside Object Explorer. But, I need all the table definitions and stored procedures from the personal web site so I can move forward. Has no one else had problems using this database? Dexter

trouble adding MDF file to project using Visual Studio 2008
I just installed Visual Studio 2008. I started working on a WinForms app and I tried to add a database file (.MDF) into the project. However, I kept getting the following error message: "Connections to SQL Server files (*.mdf) require SQL Server Express 2005 to function properly. Please verify the installation of the component or download from the url: http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?LinkId=49251 " The link took me to the SQL Server 2008 web site. I downloaded the 2008 Express Edition and

Re: How to use pre-defined themes
You can find one of the articles here: http://www.15seconds.com/issue/040105.htm (I don't know where I read the other article, I simply Googled and started reading....)

How to use pre-defined themes
I just started using Visual Studio 2008 and I am also getting started using themes. I read an article that stated that ASP.NET ships with some standard themes that you can try out for yourselves, including ones such as BasicBlue and SmokeAndGlass. Another article made this claims as well. So, I created a test page that specified "BasicBlue" as the theme. However, when I selected the "View In Browser" option from Visual Studio, I got the following parser error: "Theme 'Basic

Using validator control inside of a modal popup is not working
I have a web page that I decided was too busy....I added a panel to collect information and I am calling it with a modal popup control. The popup works fine but I have some required field validators that will not fire whenever I press the OK button. In addition, I added a ValidatorCallout and it does not display anything as well. So, my questions are: 1) In general, should I not attempt to do data entry inside of a popup? 2) Is there a known issue with validators not working with AJAX? 3) Are there

Re: why does Ajax add an old reference to System.Web.Extensions to my web.config?
Okay...I got it fixed... Basically, I created a new web site using VS2008. Then, I moved all my pages from my old solution into it. I recompiled and ran the web site. Everything worked. I then created a page that uses an Ajax modal popup. Everything works! In theory, there should have been no difference but apparently, there was something being referenced in the original solution that was converted from VS2005 that wasn't kosher....
