  Thanks for your comment... I am using the table because I want to manipulate several controls.... making them visible and invisible at the same time. The problem is that when I put them in a panel tag they are automatically taken out by the Web Matrix program. So I was trying to use the asp:table instead... Maybe that's a bug I have to report....

• Dealing with tables???

  Hello every one... This might be a silly thing... but bear with me. How do you edit web controls in an asp table??? When I make the table I have to insert every thing manually... hand coding. Then... I cannot double click controls inside the table. Is there a way I am missing??? or is it intended to be that way??? It is really annoying... I have to put a control outside the table... code for it and then copy the code for the control inside the asp table. By the way... if this is a silly question

  Hello everyone... This is my first reply here... and it happens to be in support of php :) Anyway... I am trying to learn ASP.NEt... and frankly speaking... php is much easier to work with... Plus... there are many things you can do with it that are beyond regular functions... like building pdf and swf files... Add to that one important thing that really makes it important to me... It is not platform dependant.... Anyway, I will be working on ASP.NET... and I admit... the built-in validation procedures
