  • Variation on db connection error

I'm trying to install DNN up on my ISP for the first time. I've uploaded a DNN configuration I already had set up hitting a database on my local workstation. I only changed the connection strings in web.config and the sql data provider config.xml file to hit my database which is called 'parkbrit'. The error I'm getting is as follows: The Assembly Version ( [ASSEMBLYVERSION] ) does not match the Database Version ( [DATABASEVERSION] ) ERROR: Could not connect to database. Could not find stored procedure

  • Re: No Images Appearling on DNN 2.0 Beta 1

Shortly after posting this message, I realized that there is another asp.net application platform (i.e. the Community Starter Kit v1.1) that had the following configuration requirement that conflicted with DNN in that it prevented DNN images from showing up: (from Community Starter Kit Installation Notes)"In IIS, you will also need to create application mappings for 3 file extensions. You must map .gif, .jpg, and .jpeg to the aspnet_isapi.dll (same mapping that the .aspx extension uses). "

  • No Images Appearling on DNN 2.0 Beta 1

Hello, I've downloaded DNN 2.0 Beta 1 and am running it successfully save one issue. No images show up anywhere in the portal, but only the red x/alt descriptionis that show up when no image can be found are visible. In my root DotNetNuke subdirectory, I have an images directory that is full of Images and the html rendered by DNN all reference '/DotNetNuke/Images' for all img tags. Got any ideas? -Thanks!

  • Cannot Build When Including New Theme

Hi, I just added a new skin in GCN that I was able to apply to my community with no problems. I am having an issue building my GCN solution in VS.NET 2003. Here's my compiler output...have any clues on why the compiler is looking for codebehind and resources for these new skin files, but not the original skins?: ------ Build started: Project: CSKDotNet, Configuration: Debug .NET ------ Preparing resources... Updating references... Performing main compilation... error CS1504: Source file 'D:\Program
