Loops within Loops?
I have a project (using VB in VS2008 to SQL2005 server) where I am adding nodes to a TreeView. Everything works fine but the SQL I am using is pretty ugly. How can I do this more intelligently? What I am doing: I have a select that returns a records set using .ExecuteReader() The SQL statement as an example is: "select department, manager, employee from employeetable group by department, manager, employee" I am trying to output something like: For each department create a ParentTreeNode

SqlSiteMapProvider - how to reinitialize?
I am using the wickedcode SqlSiteMap code. Works great. But, when a user logs off and another user signs in, the old users credentials are used to build the menu. How can I destroy and rebuild it? Thanks.

Themes and/or Styles
I'm using VS2008 and report viewer in local mode. Is there a way to use Themes or Styles to create a template so that when creating new RDLC files the new report has the same look as all the rest? I would like all the headers, footers, fonts, and so on to be the same without having to change them on each new report. Thanks.

Re: aspnet_log over taking drive
Thanks for the responses. Can anybody tell me why this DB exists? I am not accessing it in any of the pages. Can it be turned off somehow? Thanks!

aspnet_log over taking drive
I have VWD2005 installed on a machine. I noticed the drive is full. I tracked it down to this log file that is huge: aspnetdb_log.LDF What is it? How do I get rid of it . We are not using it. This has consumed the servers hard drive! I have the aspnetdb commented out of my config file. Why is this growing like this? <!-- <remove name="LocalSqlServer"/> <add name="LocalSqlServer" connectionString="Data Source=localhost;Initial Catalog=aspnetdb;Integrated Security

Web.sitemap - showing something new has been added or a change was made
Is there a way using a Treeview control and web.sitemap to show a new option has been added or a change was made? A way to highlight to the user to take notice there is a new menu option or a change was made? Some indicator that would appear for some length of time. I've seen menu's where the word "New!" or some similar thing was shown. I'm using VWD2005 and vb. Suggestions? Thanks!

Re: Two Calendar Controls - one updates the other. How?
Thanks! That was too easy. I simply put the below into the FromDate_SelectionChanged and it works great. I didn't see the .visibledate ToDateCalendar.VisibleDate = DateSerial(Year(FromDateCalendar.SelectedDate), Month(FromDateCalendar.SelectedDate) + 1, 1 - 1)

Two Calendar Controls - one updates the other. How?
Hi, I have two calendar controls; FromDate and ToDate on a web form. I am using VWD2005 and VB. When I click on FromDate I need the ToDate control to move to the last day of the month for the selected FromDate. Getting the last day of the month for the selected FromDate and making ToDate have that as the selected date is easy but I can't get the ToDate control to refresh and show that selected date. The FromDate is often a couple months back. Rarely is it the current month. How do I get ToDate

Re: VS2008 and MicrosoftReportViewer Control
Thanks again Michael Jin for your reply. I did figure out report parameters, but I don't think that accomplishes what I need. Report parameters as defined in the .rdlc simply filter out data that has been returned from the Table Adapter as I understand it. So, if you do a select * from a large table but only want (for example) emplyee's hired between FromDate and ToDates you will be returning all records then the .rdlc will filter them down. I think what I need to do is to pass parameters
