  thank you atrax! I didn't know that IIS 6.0 prohibits asp by default. I configured 'web service extensions' and now it works :-)

• asp doesn't work after I installed asp.net on win 2003

  hello, I installed windows server 2003 and added asp.net support. Then I tested some aspx files, they worked. But when I test asp files, I got 404 errors. I am 100% sure that the asp files (very simple asp files, just for test) are in the right directories and asp is set to be processed by asp.dll correctly. How could it be? Any hints? thanks much!

• TreeView problems: limited AutoPostBack / LinkButton in Node / multiple trees

  hi folks, I have some problems regarding the TreeView control. 1. When AutoPostBack is set to true, all events (Expand/Collapse/SelectedIndexChange) cause a postback. But I only want the event SelectedIndexChange to be posted back, because Expand and Collapse needn't be handled on server. What should I do to disable Expand/Collapse to be posted back? 2. Can I add LinkButtons or other Web Controls into a TreeNode? When the user select a TreeNode, I want a command to be issued, NOT a url to be opened
