  What's the memory configuration of the machine? What kind of project did you open in VS2003 and in VWD? Are the documents open by default? Is it a migrated app? Our performance team is working hard to make VWD and VSWhidbey highly performant. For example, opening an empty website in VWD is at least 10 times faster than the equivalent operation in VS2003. Yes, you will be able to run VSWhidbey on 900MHz system with required sizeof the RAM. Hope this helps, Appan
