Treeview State Maintenance
Hello all, I am utilizing ASP.NETs Treeview control and would like to maintain the state of the expanded/collapsed nodes via javascript (can't seem to do this in the code-behind) upon a page refresh. Currently, the treeview will revert back to collapsing every node once the page is refreshed. I will need to undergo a page refresh due to the requirement for the TreeView to be repopulated when a button is clicked. Have anyone come across this issue before? If client side will not solve this problem

Re: Find out index of treeview node?
Hey there, I have been able to find the id of the selected node via javascript... var selectedNode = tvwTreeView.getTreeNode(tvwTreeView.selectedNodeIndex); document.Form1.hdeNode.value = selectedNode.getAttribute("ID"); When I do this tvwTreeView.selectedNodeIndex = the index belonging to the ID It does select the node, but it does not expand to that node. Say for example, I have a treeview with three levels, the node I want to retrieve is in the third level. Executing the line above would

Re: Retrieving a value from a Treeview using Javascript
Hey again. Abit of a discovery here. There is a treeview.htc file in the C:\Inetpub\wwwroot\webctrl_client\1_0 directory. I found a doNodeClick(el) method in there and searched for some code that could pull out the type of node that i am passing in. I have found another method that does this el.getAttribute("Type") So on each doNodeClick, i have an alert that pops up with the Type on the alert. My guess is that you can specify "value" or "text" for the actual value of

Retrieving a value from a Treeview using Javascript
Hey all, Just trying to implement javascript with asp.net controls. I have a ASP.net treeview object and what i need to do is, depending on the node selected, populate an ASP.NET listbox via javascript. I'm trying desperately hard to find a way of using javascript to retrieve the selected node value in a treeview. I'm haven't come up with a solution and was wondering whether anyone has come across this same problem or anyone who may have a suggestion. Cheers Alvin

Treeview wrap
Hi all, Just a question regarding a treeview feature (or lack of). Is there a way that we can have the treeview wrap it's nodes so if there is a long piece of text it would automatically appear in the next line? I have tried to manually place a <br> in the node text (yuck) and though it achieved that purpose, the presentation of the nodes was out of place. Any hints or solutions would be much appreciated. Thanks
