• HTTP Compression + ASP.NET AJAX broken in RTM?

  I've been using the blowery.web HTTP compression module with no problems until the 1.0 release. Now, I get an error message whenever an AJAX callback happens. Here is the error message. • Dec Futures AutoCompleteExtender - please fix these issues

  Using IE6, SSL and the AutoCompleteExtender results in the annoying "This page contains both secure and nonsecure items" dialog. Also, please hide the default div using display: none. The current method still takes up space on the screen.

• AutocompleteExtender - don't use the visibility property

  Who decided to use the visibility CSS property for the default div for the AutocompleteExtender? This is stupid. The div still takes up space on the screen, ruining my layout. Please use the display CSS property.

  If you have, say, a textbox in an update panel, and you want to set focus to that textbox via the ScriptManager.SetFocus() method, it does not receive focus in IE6. It does work in Firefox (haven't tried IE7 yet).   One other thing to add. AutoEventWireup for the Page must be set to "true" or else the JS proxy is never generated.
