Error sending mail out
We're getting some issues sending out mail from one of our servers. At the begining I was getting this error message; Mailbox unavailable. The server response was: Relaying denied when attempting to send mail The DPS tech guy then allowed it, which then gave me this message: System.Net.WebException: Unable to connect to the remote server ---> System.Net.Sockets.SocketException: No connection could be made because the target machine actively refused it at System.Net.Sockets.Socket.DoConnect

Re: Error sending mail out
The testing machine works great, however this is housed at an external location with their own internal security. This works on every system that I test on, but not the live servers, so I'm betting it's based on their security settings.

Re: Error Debugging into WS On local machine
Hey John, Yea, I can get to the asmx using the web perfectly fine. I just can't debug into it. I can start the website and have the debugger "attach" to it, however it will never interecept anything, and throws the 500 bad request error whenever something tries to send data to it.

Error Debugging into WS On local machine
We did some changes to our Main solution and split it into 5 solutions because of the size. In our web solution now I'm unable to debug into a WebService that I've always been able to get into. This is the error message I'm getting: Unable to automatically step into the server. The remote procedure could not be debugged. This usually indicates that debugging has not been enabled on the server. See help for more information. in the WS's web.config I have debug="true", and

Re: What's the best way to publish projects?
With projects, I usually just "publish" the project, and copy the code up. Right click the project name, click publish, point to where you want it and copy it up. I'm not a fan of the click-once deployment, but if you're project is simple, look it up.

Re: gobs of ink, tonnes of toner, please give us "printer friendly" tutorial pages, et cetera
You can always select what you want and paste the selection / or copy to notepad and print from there.

Re: how i can maintaine user state on the treeview?
The easiest way would be use Ajax to avoid doing a full postback - which keeps the state of the treeview intact.

Re: How do I have a web based Client Side Application in .net?
Is it a website they're making changes on? Or client software installed on their system which then updates when getting in range? If they have their own IIS Server installed on their laptops I could see this, other than that I'm not sure.
