Site Log disabled
I am having trouble enabeling the site log on one of my websites. I have various domains up and running, but on one of them the site log claims to be disabled, and wont report anything..... Your Hosting Provider Has Disabled the Site Log History Feature For Your Portal. It is a DNN 3.1, SQL, on WIN2k3 server, Logged in as Host, SuperUser, I have set the Portal > Host Settings to be the same on two sites, but one wont let me see the Site log, although it will let me look at the Log Viewer Has anyone

Re: Shadow Module for DNN3
Thanks for the information. This is a great module, but the DNN3 version, doesn't allow you to shadow or mirror a module from another portal. The DNN2 module was great, the "Webstone Shadow Module allows an existing module to be placed on another tab or even another portal if the Host have given permission for such." I would love a DNN3 version....

Shadow Module for DNN3
Does anyone know of a easy way to shadow content from one module to another module, on a different domain, but on the same server. The Shadow Module in DNN2 worked really well, and allowed you (with Host permissions) to copy content from one portal to another. The "add Existing Module" in DNN3 works beautifully for copying content within a Portal, but it would great to be able to do it across differnt portals within the same installation. Any ideas, or tips? Many thanks

Re: How do I remove the "(DNN 3.1.1. )" from the Title?
No, I dont think it removes anything else, it just hides the cedit's from the Title tag and from the bottom of the page.

Replicate Module from one Portal to another
I know that using the "Add Existing Module" it is possible to copy a module from one page to another, but is there a way of copying content from another portal, (on the same install). Is it a setting that I am missing somewhere?

Re: How do I remove the "(DNN 3.1.1. )" from the Title?
If you want to remove the "(DNN 3.1.1.)" from the title, login in with Host Access rights, and on the Host Settings page edit the Apperance Settings. The first Item is "Show Copyright Credits" , and if you take the tick out of the box, the versoin number will dissappear from the title tag. It will also remove the "Portal engine source code is copyright ..... etc etc" from the bottom of the page. The "other" Copyright settings are on the Admin > Advance Settings > Other Settings page, but they

Re: Instructions for Syndication & xml feed
Thanks for the offer of help.... I am running DNN ver 3.1.0, on a 2K3 server. I am not sure if I have the concept of "Syndicate" straight, or the XML for that matter.. I have been able to link a RSS feed without any problems, and have a nice news feed from the BBC showing on my test site. I have a group of websites that I would like to share information between, to save having to re-write the same information. All of the sites are on the same server. How do I copy the content from the module on one

Re: 2.0.4 to 2.1.2 upgrade errors
Thanks for the input. the zip files contain the .dll, .ascx files as well as the .dnn file. Are these .zip files intended to be installed afterwards? In reply to your question, there is a .dnn file in both the module folder, and in the .zip file. They both have the same volume, and appear to be the same. When you do a clean install the .zip files are not expanded (I think - there is no pagetitle.dll file in the "bin" folder. Unfortunatley I am not sure when it says ".dnn not found"
