  I did find this article, but it looks as though you need admin access to the Win 2008 server. http://learn.iis.net/page.aspx/134/install-frontpage-server-extensions/ ok, Well, I guess back to FTP I go.

• Visual Web Dev without Front Page extensions?

  I upgraded my hosting environment to Windows 2008, and my host doesn't support Front Page Extensions on that platform. I was used to simply copying files from my local IIS to the server, but now that doesn't work from within VWD. Is there any way to force it or am I stuck using FTP?
