  • How Do the Payment Settings Work?

I have set up a site and entered correct (I believe) values for a PayPal account in the Host Settings/Payment Settings area. I then had someone create a portal and set up their PayPal information in the Site Settings/Advanced Settings/Payments Settings area. So far, nothing has happened. I set this up a couple of weeks ago. What I would like to know is: 1) When is the transaction supposed to take place? 2) Does this functionality actually work? 3) Are there any other sites out there that are actually

  • Re: User Accounts is currently unavailable

Thanks John, I ran this on my portal and successfully removed 3 user records. Worked fine.

  • Migrating 3.0.13 Between Servers

Hi all, I have a perfectly operational 3.0.13 implmentation on one of my servers. I need to tear down and rebuild the server (hardware reasons), so I need to move my DNN to another server. I set up a second server with Windows Server 2003 (same as the first) and created the web site on it. After copying over my DNN site files and making a small mod to the Web.config to point to a different SQL server, I can not get the site to come up. It complains about the URLRewriter already being loaded, and

  • What's New in 3.0.13?

I have been looking for a contralized set of release notes for 3.0.13, but can't find one. Does such a thing exist? As an operator of a 3.0.9 DNN site, it would be nice to know if it what kinds of changes to expect when upgrading to 3.0.13.

  • Can't log in after upgrade to 3.0.13

I had a beautifully operating DNN 3.0.10 server an performed a flawless(?) upgrade to 3.0.13. Next time I tried to log into any of my portals, I was denied. I tried a number of different accounts, including the host account. I am positive I type passwords in correctly. Is anyone else having this happen to them? How can I fix it? I have users who want to author content and can't. What a way to end the week! Sheesh! Marc.

  • Re: 3.0.10 - Can't Create Portal

I have been able to get around this problem finally as well. I can create portals, but with a couple of restrictions. 1. I can't create child portals, only parents. Not such a bad thing, as this is probably a better way to go anyway. 2. The username for the portal administrator cannot exist in the users database. Two and a half days, and I finally have an operational platform. Oh well, this is how we learn, right? Thanks for all the input to this thread folks! :-)

  • Re: 3.0.10 - Can't Create Portal

Okay, I wound everything back to 2.1.2 and then applied the 3.0.10 upgrade. I still can't create a portal. Everything else seems to be working okay, but no luck on creating a portal. Any other ideas? Marc.

Re: Can you create a user under your host account... have you tried? Yes, I can create users under 3.0.10 when I'm logged in as Host. Marc.
