• Official DotNetNuke Forum - Officially awful?

  I'm a huge fan of DotNetNuke but I get a sinking feeling in my stomach every time I have to visit the 'Official' DotnetNuke website and more importantly the 'Official' Forums. The DotNetNuke team deserve all the respect and praise in the world for what they have achieved and produced but the 'Shop Window' ( www.dotnetnuke.com ) and the 'Meeting Room' ( http://www.dotnetnuke.com/tabid/795/Default.aspx ) are holding this great product back. Does anyone else agree? I really do hate having to search

  Thanks for the infor on FTB but has anyone been able to address the point raised by John where Logs files show hundreds of entries for "Core Localization File not found" when you have en-GB set. Thanks Mark

  I too would like to load a control using EditURL but would like some other panes available rather than using the admin skin. I have also noticed that even when having a pane defined in my Admin Skin it still fails to show that pane and only appears to want to load my Edit control into the main content pane. Please help.   Hi, I followed Shaun's instructions (DNN 4.00.01, VSWD and SQL2005 Express) but get the following: Cannot open user default database. Login failed. Login failed for user 'XPC\ASPNET' Can anyone explain how to set permissions for ASPNET user. I do still have VS 2003 and SQL 2000 installed on my machine if this may have something to do with it.
