  • Re: How to tell DNN version

    If you have host rights, it's on the host settings... Either the "Dotnetnuke Version" or the upgrade log should indicate the newest version that has been installed

  • Re: Licence Question

    DNN has never been under GPL (as far as I can remember, and I've been around since 1.0.5). It has always been a BSD style of license. Matt

  • Re: Portal Alias Causing Graphics to Not Display

    chammock wrote: I have a site and I need to move the Domain name ( www.blueribbonschools.com ) to another site. I added the WH4L temp url to my portal alias table so that I can still access the site after moving the domain. But when I browse using the temp url (see link below) I don't see any graphics. The graphics all use relative paths like /portals/0/image.jpg. So I was expecting them to work. Browse the site using http://site223.webhost4life.com/reunice and you will see what I mean. Any ideas

    Thanks, I'll definitely take a look at this. Probably experiment in the office first and see how it works out... ;) Matt

  • Re: Test Driven Development (nUnit & Fit)

    Brad, the problem we have is a technical one. Yes, TDD is a different approach, but for it to work we have to be able to WRITE meaningful tests first. I work in an agile environment, and unfortunately our DNN stuff is woefully lacking test coverage just because I haven't been able to figure out how to do it. As it's been said, if someone can give a concrete example of HOW to test DNN, then we can look at moving to TDD. Personally, I'd be eternally grateful too. Matt

  • Re: Displaying Different Time Zones

    RLydia: Yes and no. That doesn't take into account what we refer to as Daylight Savings Time (I belive it's called Summer Time in other parts of teh world) which occurs on a different date each year, and which is different for different parts of the world (for instance, Australia's is OPPOSITE ot the US since summer is at the opposite time of the year, but they don't do it on the same days either...)     Here's what I've got to create fixed-width tabs: .MainMenu_RootMenuItem TD { BORDER-RIGHT : white 0px solid ; BORDER-TOP : white 0px solid ; FONT-WEIGHT : bold ; FONT-SIZE : 12px ; BORDER-LEFT : white 0px solid ; CURSOR : hand ; COLOR : black ; BORDER-BOTTOM : white 0px solid ; FONT-STYLE : normal ; FONT-FAMILY : Arial, Helvetica, Sans-Serif ; background-image : url(tab.gif) ; width : 94px ; text-align : center ; height : 24px ; }

    Believe it or not, this MAY have to do with your login cookies. Try clearing your cookies and see if it still occurs... Matt

    Well, I don't have it in front of me, but your first problem is that passwords are encrypted under DNN3...
