  I have checked and I am using ASP 1 not 2. My hoster says he has been on some forums and other people are having this problem, but his final word is "we don't know how to fix this" Can anyone offer some more things to try. Is it possible there is a problem with the Plesk setup? I have read a few posts and have tried: Cleared the site log Added the timeout in the web.config Cleared my local cookies All with no success. Please someone help, my members are complaining, plus it used to work when I hosted

  Hi Cathal I have checked with the hosting company, and my DNN1 is running under asp 1.1 and as such this has not solved the problem, even though I did make the change. Any other suggestions would be appreciated. thanks Simeon.

  but I am using DNN1 - is there a similar setting for DNN1? Plus this used to work on my server, which is why I think its either something in machine.config or its an iis setting.

  I am using a Plesk based server and DNN1 used to wrok on my server at home but since moving to my hosting company it no longer works. Is there something in Plesk (which I know nothing about) that is stopping it from working?

• Remember login details

  I have recently moved my site to a new hosting company powerdnn. While they have been very good there is one thing they have been unable to fix. while I was hosting at home all worked ok, but now the system does not remember logins if you tick the box. I am running DNN1 at www.virtualgolfsociety.co.uk Can anyone make any suggestions we can try in order to fix this, my members are complaining. Thanks Simeon.

  Hi Rodney, I have not replied to this as I still have some minor teething points, but let me tell you this. I have been hosting at home and had complete control, and being a bit of a control freak found the thought of hosting scary!! I was worried that I would not be able to do what I want, or get hold of the people when I wanted to. My fears have been laid to rest. I now host www.virtualgolfsociety.co.uk with Tony, at PowerDNN and I am paying $50 a month. Sadly I am still using DNN1 as I modified
