• Scheduler Help - 3.013

  I am building a module that has a need for a scheduled task. I built a class that inherits the DotNetNuke.Services.Scheduling.SchedulerClient I went into the scheduler and tried to add a new item. I put in the name of the class - DNNToolSet.HelpDesk.SendUpdateEmail and then put in the name of the DLL - DNNToolSet.HelpDesk - it looks like the following; DNNToolSet.HelpDesk.SendUpdateEmail, DNNToolSet.HelpDesk I set it initially to run every 1 minutes on application start.   I would concur that DNN is perfect for a magazine type site. With a little custom work you can really have a dymanic site that will be easy for non-technical people to maintain. Thanks!

• Strange Error on DNN 3.1

  I tried searching the forums for this, so if I missed it please point me in the right direction :>) We have a portal that we are occassionally getting the following error on: Request for permission of type System.Security.Permissions.FileIOPermission, mscrrlib, Version=1.0.5000.0, Culture=Neutral, PublicToken=b77a5c561934e089 failed.
