Heroes Happen Here - Source Code for hands on labs
This might not be the best place to post this, but here goes. Microsoft posted the hand on labs for Visual Studio 2008 that were available at the Heroes Happen Here launch, but did not post the source code. The labs aren't much good without it. Anyone got any idea when MS will post the source code that the labs are based on. matchbx

I managed to find this article http://msdn2.microsoft.com/en-us/library/ms178366.aspx Can someone please tell me if this applies to ASP.NET 2.0? Or is there something new to use in ASP.NET 2.0?

databinder.eval vs bind (or maybe databinder.bind)
Can someone please explain the difference between using this <asp :textbox ID ="MyTextbox" runat ="server" Text =' <%# Bind("MyFieldName") %> '></asp:textbox> and this <asp :textbox ID ="MyTextbox" runat ="server" Text = ' <%#DataBinder.Eval(Container.DataItem, "MyFieldName") %> ' ></asp:textbox> I have looked in the Visual Studio 2005 documenation and googled it, but can't seem to

Re: Profile not in current context error
Anyone know where I can download the WebProfile Generator v1.2 at? I managed to find v1.1 here , but I'd like to use the latest version is possible. One more question...... Why hasn't Microsoft addressed this directly? Why am I being forced to dig through web site after web site to understand why I can't use the Profile Class in a WAP? Sometimes microsoft can really #$^*&$#%^.....

Re: <applicationSettings> vs <appSettings>
I will be implementing the old style <appSettings>. Mainly due the fact that no one can point me to any documentation that explains speific use of <applicationSettings> in a Web Project. Thanks, matchbx

Re: <applicationSettings> vs <appSettings>
Can anyone point me to actual MSDN documentation concerning the use of <ApplicationSettings> with a Web Project? I am highly skeptical that MS indends <applicationSettings> to be used in a Web Project (at least at this point in time) and more inclined to believe that this is something that accidentally happened when Microsoft released the patch that allowed users to once again create Web Projects in Visual Studio (it was a patch for awhile but is now rolled into SP1). The reason for this

Re: <applicationSettings> vs <appSettings>
In a Web Project the only item available in the Scope Dropdown box is "Application". No other options are available.
