Re: Anyone publishing new Editor Providers???
Hello Locopon Thank you very much (again) ... have you considered showing your securelogin module to the guys at Bonosoft - I believe they are managing the core login module as a sub-project now that the "core modules" have been disconnected from the core. Perhaps they can roll-in your functionality to the core login module!

Re: Anyone publishing new Editor Providers???
Hello Locopon Thank you very much for creating the FCKEditor provider. I have a question on a different topic however ... I noticed that when I registered on your website, the login control displayed an image of a number that needed to be typed in for verification purposes. This is a very useful feature ... tell me, how did you do that? Thanks again

It's very interesting (and promising) what these guys are doing, and I think, shows the potential of one way DNN can be used to generate income. It's great to see the feedback this thread is prompting.

Well I have been quite vocal, and I do not believe myself to be uninformed, given my legal background. Nor do I consider myself to have questionable motives - I do not earn any income from DNN-related activities and never have or will. I use DNN strictly as an end-user. Phil Beadle (Core member) knows

My primary idea on this was to provide the tools to quickly implement a MySpace.com. But I'm finding that people without any tech skills need a LOT more help than I originally thought. I knew they would need help, but.....they are totally lost. These people create their portal and then when their portal comes up...they go back to the original portal they used to

Demo Portal Signup - is it a good thing?
Hello I'm wondering what everyone thinks about the Anonymous Portal Signup option (Host settings). This option gives the ability for completely anonymous visitors to create their own portal (typically for a trial period). In the core's book (great read btw!), they flag their concerns over this option because it would allow an unscrupulous person to create a portal as say, a download site for questionable files, for the demo period or until noticed by the host. But on the flip side, this option is

Thirdly after reading the posts about the Australian trade mark

voxhumana wrote: Ross It would take a lot more than vague threats/allegations from a new user to cause you any grief in this forum. A number of us are following this trademark issue closely, and should action ever be needed (as outlined in my initial post) one of us will make that abundantly clear on this forum. Until then, the people attempted to perpetrate this act can do whatever they want, and trolls will continue to bounce around regardless. Regards Manning (voxhumana) Thanks Manning :)

But I guess I'll follow your advice - I have better things to do (like programming). I think it's fairly obvious that I have the community support on this one, so probably best to leave well enough alone.
