ASP.NET AJAX - Events calendar
I have been searching far and wide for an example showing how to update events on an events calendar using ASP.Net AJAX. The only examples I find are commercial modules or not ASP.Net AJAX. If anyone has had more luck than I can you point me to the resource. Thanks

Re: Easily wrap text in a SPAN from design view
It's not a perfect solution, but What I ended up doing is simply adding code snippets to the toolbar. < div >DIV< div > and < span >SPAN< span > This in combination with turning on Detail View provides a workable solution.

Easily wrap text in a SPAN from design view
Is there an easy way to set this up. I would like to be able to Select a section of text and Wrap it in a SPAN and/or a DIV. My thoughts were along these lines. Either extending the Blockquote Drop-down to include these tags, or adding something to the toolbar. I haven't had any luck finding the information needed to do this. Does anyone know how I could do this? Thanks

Hosting a high traffic (asp.net) site on VMWare or Virtual server
I would be very interested to know what you think about running a production site on VMWare. Web and SQL and EMail etc. We are due to update our current server vintage 2001 4Gig RAM. The two things that concern me is SQL performance, and if we also move our main city site to DNN, the traffic will be crazy. It currently has a google page rank of 8 and I wouldn't want a VMWare approach to adversely affect the user experience.

Re: Social Networking Module/Project
I am looking to do the same thing. That is create a site for Graduate/Post Grad's. I am using modules from http://www.smart-thinker.com/ These are not fully fleshed out, but are still quite nice. The functionality includes the ability for a user to create their own page. I think he will be able to make many improvements after DNN upgrades to 3.3/4.1. The User and Role Management will be much more extensible. One thing about this as a core project. I think the advantage is it would raise the awareness

Re: Forums are in Decay
There is already some talk of creating a master view of the DNN forums. I find it hard to believe that your primary issues would not be resolved by a quality implementation of this. I think this would effectively render the separate forums as categories. A really nice implementation of this could have something like a multi-select dropdown, or a forum select box to the left of the forum. I think this would unite the community again, but also allow some key benefits. Ability to take a broad view,
