• converting version two module

  Anyone got any ideas I am converting a version 2 module, which I had running under 3.0.4 to about 3.0.7 now when trying to view the module I get a module load exception System.Web.HttpException: Multiple controls with the same ID 'ctr364_DD' were found 364 is the module id on the page. I have stripped the page load of the module down to nothing and I still get the same problem. Any ideas? Rob

  Thanks for that... Not quite what I am looking for I think... Will this remove comments from view source ? The article I mentioned did just that.

  I remember a while ago in the time of version 2 someone create an addin or extra code to reduce the page size by removing spaces, comments etc. Tried searching ... Anyone able to help? Rob

  If you are creating new apps then dnn is a brilliant framework to work from. You have some much less to worry about when creating a dnn module with a portal compared with a clean slate asp.net app. The big things you hand to dnn to do... security - login/access levels etc and most of the page presentation. This gives you more time to code your app.
