Re: RegularExpressionValidator and the new AsyncFileUpload
FYI... I downloaded the updated solution, compiled, and I'm not using the new dll. However, I continue to get an exception stating that "Object does not handle this method or property" which is the same issue that I was having before using the new DLL. I copied your exact javascript in this post (to ensure that I'm not making any mistakes) and set OnClientUploadStarted ="uploadStarted" Any ideas?

Re: RegularExpressionValidator and the new AsyncFileUpload
Never mind. The new DLL wasn't copied becuase the build kept pulling in the old version. Now if you can build a Clear() method for this thing we'll be home free :-) Thanks,

4000 Character Limit on Expressions?
I'm running into a very frustrating problem and can't find any workaround for it. I have several nvarchar(1000) columns that I'm trying to combine in a select statement as follows: SELECT column_1 + '<br/>' + column_2 + '<br/>' + ... + column_n The query always returns the first 4000 characters of the above expression. Is there any way around this limitation? I'm not a SQL guru, but need the data returned in a single column.

Re: Disappearing FileUpload Control in ModalPopup Extender
This worked great! Thanks for your help. I'm still puzzled as to why some controls are being rendered (e.g. textboxes and ddls) and the fileupload is not. Oh well, at least I have a solution. Thanks again.

Disappearing FileUpload Control in ModalPopup Extender
I am have a problem that I've been trying to figure out for a couple of days to no avail. Here's the situations: 1. ModalPopup panel with two panels inside it that are not visible and a RadioButtonList that toggles the visiblility of the two panels (only one is visible at a time, but both are invisible when the modal panel first pops up). 2. The first hidden panel includes text boxes and a DDL and a button to submit data. That panel works fine. 3. The second hidden panel includes a textbox

Re: Rating control
I agree that the initial solution works great to get rid of the built-in link, especially if you are dealing with any type of data control such as a gridview or a repeater. One of the issues that I still have with the control is that it uses the hand cursor even when the control is set to Read Only, which gives the user the impression that they can change it. I know that a possible workaround is to create seperate stylesheet entries for the read-only mode and set their cursor type to pointer, but

Re: Uploading & converting videos to .FLV on the fly like in YouTube
I was just curious about their performance. The product appears to be a simply wrapper around FFMPEG. As new releases are available of FFMPEG, are you upgrading that?

Re: Uploading & converting videos to .FLV on the fly like in YouTube
Does anyone have any experience with the MediaSoft Prof? I just downloaded the trial and it contains the FFMPEG binaries in it so I'm not sure what they're providing.
