Is ICloneable has something to do with the error: Unable to cast object of type 'X' to type 'Y'
I'm not sure what are the benefits of implementing ICloneable, my web site is trapping a strange error and I wonder if that might have something to do with it, The error is: Unable to cast object of type 'X' to type 'Y' Where X is one object and Y is a different object (does not make sense) I'm convinced that this is not a casting error on my side since its working fine locally and I only get this error occasionally... don't know how to reproduce it... My objects are all

Re: How can I show resource data at design time ?
I thought so... How about showing the same static text for all these resources ? For example "Language Resource" How can I make my class to appear as a recognizable design time contol with this text ?

How can I show resource data at design time ?
I have a custom static class for displaying resources from database, These resources are only string type, Right now - when I show a ASPX page in design - all the strings are missing (because they are being initialized at runtime...) Is there a way that I can make it support Visual Studio - so the string data will show on design ? Thanks in advance.

Re: What is removing my cache objects ?
It seems like the problem is the "Process Model" Idle Time-out on the Application Pool, Please add an Application Pool for my web site and set the following two values: IIS7 -> Application Pools -> My_Application_Pool -> Advanced Settings 1. set the "Process Model" -> Idle Time-out (minutes) to : 43200 2. set the "Recycling" -> Regular Time Interval (Minutes) to : 43200 (it has to be at least whatever the Idle Time-out is) (the max should be - 43200 minutes

What is removing my cache objects ?
Dear All. I added caching to some database readings which seems to work fine, Except that every few minutes all the cache is getting removed in some magical way, (happends both on my local and on a shared hosting server) I'm using a DefaultAppPool on IIS7 For example, I cache something for 30 days with Cache .NoSlidingExpiration, CacheItemPriority .NotRemovable But it gets deleted anyway after few minutes Any ideas ?

Re: What is removing my cache objects ?
Seems like non of these three reasons are happening but the cache gets deleted anyway...

Re: How can I measure the size of cache objects ?
This link point to the same exact articles... I'm convinced that if performance monitor can show the size of cached items then there must be a programatic way of doing that too, Still looking for a solution.

How can I measure the size of cache objects ?
For example I loop through my cache objects using Cache.GetEnumerator(); But how can I calculate the size of all the objects ? Thanks.
