Did you look at the modules on Snowcovered? I am fairly sure that there is a job board for DNN2.0. HTH,

  • Re: Web Based File Management System for DNN Admins

No kidding...I used to be up there in the Workshop days, but the day job has me killed. I need to get back into helping out here. I agree...what a great way to get people to participate. Thanks Nik,

  • Re: How do I Install a new module in Version 2

As long as it is a version 2 compatible module, go to File Manager, and from the dropdown choose upload files. On the resulting page, click the radio button for Custom Module. Then upload the .zip folder that contains the necessary .dnn file, ascx file, etc., and it will load the mod. It will also return a log of the upload to let you know if the module upload is successful. First and foremost, make sure the module is compatible with version 2, and if not, contact the module developer. HTH,

  • Re: DNN2 -- Under Construction?

Generally, this is because IIS is not pointing to the right page. A couple of things to check. First, you mentioned that created a host header for it in IIS...does this mean that you created another virtual site, and used the proper host header? • Re: Will DNN 2.0 Support Modules available at snowcovered.com now?

Hi Ivan, I have talked to Brice, and have given him advance copies of 2.0 so that he can try to get a head start on his store. It is my understanding, that legacy code will exist so that old modules will work, but in our recent discussions other issues have come up. All I can say about old modules in general is that the core team is going to try to help module developers get their mods working with 2.0 as quickly as possible, assuming that the mod devs are interested in doing so. Specifically, I

  • Re: Administrators guide, users guide and documentation

Don't know if they are appropriate to your needs, but you can check out my site at http://host.walshlabs.com. I have over 30 videos that go over the functionality of DNN. I will be updating them for 2.0 when it is released. There are other videos, but the information is on the site, and you can always shoot me an e-mail. Thanks,
