  He did have a custom skin. I will go back and try it again setting DNN back to a default skin and container before doing the upgrade. Good idea!

• Weird 3.0.13 upgrade issues from 2.1.12

  I recently upgraded a friends DNN portal from 2.1.12 to 3.0.13 on my test server to see the result. The problem I am having is that when I edit a module using the FTB (like News module on homepage), I get the following error: FreeTextBox has not been correctly installed. To install FreeTextBox either: (1) add a reference to FtbWebResource.axd in web.config: <system.web> <httpHandlers> <add verb="GET" path="FtbWebResource.axd" type="FreeTextBoxControls.AssemblyResourceHandler, FreeTextBox

  Could you provide some clarification on this statement: "I am logging in to my site as an admin user to one of my child sites" I read that as you are logging into your parent portal with an admin user that belongs to your child portal?

  JORGE, Unfortunately the Oracle scripts are not free and I don't people who paid for these scripts and dataprovider from dnndp.com are willing to share something they paid money for. Bite the bullet and purchase a copy for yourself. Asking for people to "share" something for free that another developer spent a good deal of time developing and in return is asking for a little money for compensation is not something to take lightly. Now you know how microsoft feels about pirating their software
