Re: Turning off Admin Header section
I have a ControlPanel on my site that will allow you to limit modules by role. I don't know if it will fit all your needs, but it's worth a try. My Site HTH's, Dave

Re: DNN4 - No Code Generator needed

There is a lot to learn if you are coming to DotNetNuke without previous experience in code generation. After getting over the learning curve on the DAL,

I wanted to comment on this in the last post, but it got by me. CS supports what's call a Merge Stratigies. I copied this from the help on it... Merge strategies answer the question: how do I customize generated code without losing my customizations when the code is regenerated? CodeSmith offers you a choice of two

Re: DNN4 - No Code Generator needed

I have been working on a module suite that contains 80+ tables. Writing all this code by hand would be tedious, time consuming, bug prone, and most likely not uniform code. the DAL for this module suite contains 1162 lines of code. while my SqlDataProvider weighs in at 5142 lines. There is also Info and Controller objects for every one of these
