Wilmington, NC Web Site (www.wilmingtonnc.gov)
Anyone know who did the http://www.wilmingtonnc.gov/ site? I see it was done in DNN. We might be neighbors and I would like to meet them! Thanks! Spence

University Sites on DNN
I am meeting with a decent sized private university on Wednesday about using DNN for their public web site. I know of these University Sites on DNN: GA Tech -http://www.edi.gatech.edu http://www.liquidportals.com/portal/mbae/ - California State University Craig MBA Program http://www.utep.edu/ - University of Texas at El Paso http://www.chattcollege.com – Chattahoochee Technical College Are there any others out there? Thanks! Spence

Re: Content Management?
I am meeting with a decent sized private university on Wednesday about using DNN for their public web site. I know they are going to ask about versioning and workflow. Has any progress been made on this? The closets I can come now is a customized, module specific solution with modules such as Entterprise Forms (http://www.longnhi.com/) and XMod. Any suggestions?

Re: Any search results in a critical error - how to get search to work?
I am having the exact same error. I get the exception below when I reindex. Like the posters before me, search is working for some portals, but not others. When I search on the portals where it does not work I get no results, but no error either. Anyone solved this yet? Here is the exception (sensitive stuff removed): AssemblyVersion : 03.01.01 Method : System.Collections.Hashtable.Insert FileName : FileLineNumber : 0 FileColumnNumber : 0 ActiveTabName : Search Admin AbsoluteURL : /Default.aspx DefaultDataProvider

Re: Email Management Newsletter Project - anyone want to contribute?
Jason, I LOVED the part about "I am very concerned about the email working properly so am going to take my time and not rush things." I sincerely wish that some of the veteran .NET programmers that produce modules for sale on Snowcovered would abide by this. Take your time, everyone here will wait! As for help with the code, if you need asistance in the meantime, go ahead and post the question to the board or send it to me via email. I would be glad to help in any way I can. Thanks! Spence

Re: SolPart Menu Based on Specific Tab/Page
Thanks for the help! Would it be possible to modify the SolPart module (not skin object/control)in a way similar to this so it only pulls the children of a specific menu item? This menu is only supposed to be shown to users in a certain security group, and I cannot think of a way to do this going the skin object route. Appreciate all the help! Spence

SolPart Menu Based on Specific Tab/Page
I am trying to add a second SolPart menu to a page. The catch is that I need to have this second SolPart menu take its structure from a specific tab/page. The excellent SideMenu module from Inventura ( http://www.inventua.com/dnn-sidemenu.content ) does just this and works phenomenally; however I really need the “drop down” functionality of SolPart. I have looked at the SolPart module at www.solpart.com and at the SolPart skin object that comes with DotNetNuke. Both of these will allow you to select

Re: ComponentArt Menu provider?
Ed, So you are saying that I should be able to specify the tab whose children I would like to display on the menu? I looked at all the settings and found nothing like that. basically I want the menu to display the children of a specific tab and not the children of the tab on which the menu is displayed. Does this still not make sense? Spence
