Re: free source, free support, free modules - How do we get paid?
i am very much still in the "learning" camp but have the hopes to move into a contributing role. i am fortunate to be a professional developer for my "day" job, and often need a project to get the ball roling learning new technology. the fact that this project as well as a few others (rainbow and the starter kits to name just a few) exist for us to utilize for our own benefit and at our OPTION contribute back to this community is pretty cool to me...actually a bit of a breather

Re: RSS feed not showing
i have seen this. it seemed to me that it was more of a request/refresh rate from the source of the rss. i was thinking maybe the source (i have only been testing with moreover.com) limits the number of requests to once every 15minutes an ip address can have....that is what i figured. i started to think this way after adding support to refresh the rss feed every 15/30 and 45 minutes. i noticed feeds i thought were bogus coming back in about 15 minutes if that was my setting. hope that helps. -ben

One caveat to my hosting situation is I can have only ONE cert and that cert is associated with a single domain. So, I did pick up a cert and have it associated with an "generic" domain name. Now I would like to use

Re: nice but what about internationalization?
take a look at the Rainbow project...they have significantly modified the IBuySpy Portal, including adding internationalization. it may provide a nice starting point for you to "internationalize" the community starter kit.
