Re: Setting the default value of a TextBox with a MaskedEditExtender
The issue was with the text direction. Mine was right to left.

Re: Setting the default value of a TextBox with a MaskedEditExtender
I've tried setting the property ClearMaskOnLostFocus =" false " and that didn't work.

Setting the default value of a TextBox with a MaskedEditExtender
I have a textbox that has a MaskedEditExtender. The mask is 99,999.99 and the InputDirection is set RightToLeft. If I try to set the default value of the textbox using TextBox.Text = "", the value does not show properly. For instance, 30.00 would display as 30,000.00. Any ideas?

Re: Looking for a way to have asp.net return just the contents of one control...
I'd suggest using the Ajax DataControls created by a team of developers over at DotNetSlackers. The controls should handle what you're looking to accomplish with ease: http://dotnetslackers.com/projects/AjaxDataControls/

Re: Using one Update Panel for different controls
It depends on the amount of data contained in the table. If you don't have a huge table, put the entire table in a single updatepanel. Otherwise, it shouldn't be too bad using individual updatepanels. Your other option would be writing your own ajax updater (especially if it's just for a few labels).

Re: The target '(Control)' for the callback could not be found or did not implement ICallbackEventHandler
Got it. I had to pass the UniqueID to a variable and use that instead of the ctrl.id.

Re: Popup Control Extender - JavaScript Error 'this._postBackSettings.async' is null or not an object
Why do you have 2 inputs? I didn't try this specific example, but my code is using an image button. Here's a better idea with some code (it may be incomplete as I tried to remove all of the other unnecessary items): 1 <%@ Page Language="VB" %> 2 3 < !DOCTYPE html PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD XHTML 1.0 Transitional//EN" "http://www.w3.org/TR/xhtml1/DTD/xhtml1-transitional.dtd"> 4 5 < script runat= "server" > 6 7 Public Sub ContinueToStep2_Click

Issue with ASP.NET Control Registration in AJAX
I have a custom ASP.NET control that I'm trying to use multiple times within a page. However, only the first control appears to be registering and using my JS correctly. Here's a basic overview of my custom control's prerender: 1 Protected Overrides Sub OnPreRender( ByVal e As EventArgs) 2 Dim callbackReference As String = Page.ClientScript.GetCallbackEventReference( Me , "" , "" , "" ) 3 4 'Generate the Client Script file and include it in the page 5
