  I have to admit to stirrig the fire a little here :) - MANY Thanks to you all for the many responses and the literally hundreds of email I have recieved. It IS hard to do most of your work in front of litterally millions of people (you get critiqued ALOT) ... and being (basicly) call useless in public, and in front of the community that you work for, sucks.   Josh just likes to stir the pot !:) I've been researching this and from both my home and office on New Engalnd with a standard home comcast account over wireless the Rich Text Editor loads in sub ONE second on all my machines. The editor itself is the Standard TinyMCE 2 Rich Text Editor. There are faster ones but they do ot support source code entries so they wouldn't be the best choice for this foruum. I'll research adding a user profile switch that lets you choose to use the editor
