Re: How can I delete a buggy module that won't go away
Glad I could help. Personally, I haven't done anything yet for the 4.x version of DotNetNuke. I cannot bring myself to make the leap.

Re: How can I delete a buggy module that won't go away
You should just delete the Module Definition entirely and then clear the cache. Host Settings >> Advanced Settings >> Other Settings >> Click 'Clear Cache'. Go to the page that had the offending module, and it should be gone. You may have to refresh the page. Jeff Johnson

Re: Need: Registered User Personal Home Page
Unfortunately, I don't know of any and judging by the lack of response, there's not too much out there. Jeff

Re: Custom Module - Create Skin [TOKEN]
Juliana, I have created a replacement Search Skin Object available on my site. You can see it in action in the top right-hand corner of my website. If it is source code that you are after, unfortunately, I do not have that with me at work. I can post it to my site later this afternoon or early this evening if you or anyone else is interested. Yours search module sounds a lot more complicated, as mine is a mere enhancement of the core Search skin object that adds an image and attaches some javascript

Re: Simple C# example
I have an extremely simple Stock Quotes module with source code written in C# if you would like to download it and take a look. You can see it in action on the homepage at http://www.bestmodules.com. Jeff Johnson

Re: Display username instead of first last name
JiltedCitizen, I have a custom skin object on my website that allows you to show Full Name, First Name only or Username. It also allows you to place some text before the name. You can check it out here User Skin Object . As for you second question, this cannot be done without modifying the core and updating the database as these fields do not allow nulls. Jeff Johnson

Re: Minimize Button Appearing When It Shouldn't
I'll probably just remove the visibility control as well. At least until this is corrected. I have logged this in bug tracker on the DotNetNuke website. Jeff

Re: Unhandled Error occur while loading module.
Does your module inherit the DotNetNuke.Entities.Modules.PortalModuleBase? Jeff Johnson
