DevDave wrote: I'd like to manipulate the Page Title and Meta tags from code (eg: different title & tags for each article or product). I did something like this about two years ago on an earlier version, and it required a core modification. Does anyone know what the appropriate way to modify Title and Meta tags dynamically with DNN 3.2? Thanks, David Hi David, this is how I do it .

  • Re: SiteURLs.config Secret

After a question on my site, I tried to get a similar thing working, you can find the details here . I initially had to change some IIS settings to map all requests through the aspnet process. Also, last night I worked on some more friendlier urls, and posted my initial findings here and here with a demo here :- http://friendly.ventrian.com/Races/Dwarves.aspx

  • Re: New Book - Professional DotnetNuke 4.0

We are still working on the options, but from what I understand, a module written for 1.1 will run on both 1.1 and 2.0 most of the time. We'll be discussing this more as we get closer. Charles Nurse & Shaun Walker are really the 2 people heading up this area at the moment.

I can't get the users to be able to add threads or reply to threads, they can only view them. I have set security roles but the only time they can post is if I add them as administrators....can someone help? This might be the best forum to post in:- Project :: Forums :: Using the Forums Edit: heh, didn't see

Goff wrote: There are many companies already using 2.0 in beta form. I know this for a fact. I am currently working on a module for my company. I was considering using 2.0 as I probably won't roll it out until November anyway. It would be better for me and if I could take advantage of the new features, all the better. I believe it should be a pressing issue for the core team to have it ready to go when 2.0 ships. Just my opinion. I understand its open source and all but there are many control developers
