Re: Moving sites from DNN3 to DNN4?
I think it is something to do with that, but I can't see the folders to give them permissions. When you say you "redid" them - do you mean using FileManager?

Re: Moving sites from DNN3 to DNN4?
I upgraded from 3.x to 4.3.3 and my site is unsable due to a number of reasons which no one seems to know anything about... I'm going to have to roll it back...

Smart-Thinker HomePage 4.3.1 for DNN 4.x - User-customizable pages - New Version!
User-customizable pages ala " My Yahoo " style! Have any of your users ever wanted to: Have their own webpage and keep a list of their favorite links and websites? Store their own photos in a photo album or keep a blog ? Put a picture of their pet cat on the front of your website and you said no? Make a webpage with their own choice of colours and layout? At the click of a button, a new page is created for a user. They are given a scaled-down control panel and can add modules from a list specified

Re: PDB Files still getting generated even in Release mode
Ok - so are the Release assemblies in Release mode in the situation mentioned above? Or is it different to a Release build compiled with this setting set to off?

Re: Great new way to protect your .NET applications
Thanks David - the reason I ask is because I am building licensing into all of my modules at the moment (see my blog here), but I am using the core .NET Licensing code and no 3rd party tools - I was wondering if it was easier or not. Can you give some idea of the costs involved once the beta phase has ended? Is it a subscrption cost to the site, or at module level, or do you sell the SDK like XHEO?

Re: Great new way to protect your .NET applications
Hello David I've been looking at your web site for a while - but I still can't figure out how much it costs or where I will be charged if I use your SDK?

Re: Looking for Business Directory Module
Hello Tamara Yes, that is correct - I used the core Repository module and customised a template. I can't stress how powerful and useful the Repository module is - very overlooked! Glad you like the DotNetNuke Directory - I am trying to make it as useful as possible!

All the menu items are part of the skin - Unfortunately I cannot claim any credibility for this (and the fade effects)- that's how I bought it ;)
