Let me add some more stuff in here. For example, if you are working in your work pc with some dynamic IP address you also need to add the ALIAS as

83.20.81.14/mysite

to show the site to some of your friends.

So you could end up with at least 3 alias. Check:

localhost/paradvd
	192.168.0.253/paradvd
	81.24.81.14/paradvd

That's the example I have here.

The alias was added and it worked.

Just in the settings add:

192.168.0.253/mysite

or if it is a production server would be:

mydomain.net/mysite

Hi everybody

I have DNN 4.0 instaled in my machine, Windows XP 64 bits with IIS 6. I have Visual Studio.Net 2005 and I build the DNN site from there, with the starter kit. Everything is ok in my localhost/site but if I try to access the site from another computer like

http://192.168.0.253/mysite

ou from the internet like http://80.81.82.83/mysite

I just get an error that there is no page. But the default.aspx is there and all stuff in IIS working fine. Permissions are ok too, because my site works perfect in here.

I have a router with the configuration open for port 80. And NAT option on. I can check that when I play online games with other ports not defined in the router, like 28960.

Well, my DNN site works perfect in here but not from outside. Any ideias?
