The problem with gallery 3.0.10 not installing in dnn 3.1 is due to a wrong .dnn file in the zipfile (businesscontrollerclass)

Until there is new a release you can replace the line with the businesscontrollerclass with this one :

<businesscontrollerclass>DotNetNuke.Modules.Gallery.Controller, DotNetNuke.Modules.Gallery</businesscontrollerclass>

Make sure you change the .dnn file WITHIN the zip file, not the one in the gallery directory as that one gets overwritten with the file from the zipfile of course)!

I don't know clearly why it works !I encounter the same problem in my customPA!what will xxController do?I left the space,it works,but add xxController ,it doesn't works!Why?where is my wrong?

Someone fix the file and put it in the DNN Downloads page for the subproject (where everyone is already downloading the broken module). Or, if it is "the subproject team's responsibility" and they have a disfunctional download, TAKE IT OFF the DNN main site. It looks really bad for DotNetNuke.

If it were up to me I would say yes, but it really is up to the Gallery sub-project team. They decide whenever a new version of the sub-project is to be made available (This will be the case for any sub-project).

I suggest posing your question in the dedicated forum for the Gallery sub-project on the dnn.com site.

Many of us made those changes without problems, but, it isn't possible to create a new version +1 with changes includes for new people downloading it?

they did confirm it... both were supposed to be released with 3.1 .. neither has been released? Why is the question? I guess they can say they were betas. Supposedly they were ready to be released... but ..

Would it be possible to get a Core Team member to either confirm or deny that the Core Module projects (Gallery/Forum) do not work in the 3.1 build? Was this documented in the release notes?

I saw something to this effect in the project forum, however, I think it would be pertainent information to post here.
