TechEd was AWESOME. For those of you that haven't been to one, I highly recommend it :-)

I got to shake hands with Shaun, Scott W, Joe B, and Dan C (among others that i knew from these forums). It was great to see the amount of interest in DNN at the conference.

I missed the birds of a feather session :-( but got to hook up with the core team guys at the INETA booth and talk DNN for a while. Thanks for the Shirt Shaun !!! I will be wearing it proud !

I was lucky enough to be the first one to have Shaun, Dan, Scott W. and Joe sign my book on Sunday evening. (Scott even put "Book #1" and initialed beside it for me!)

It is frustrating to live in Tampa, but not be able to afford to attend the conference and all of the exclusive events. Are there any get-togethers, hospitality suites, or other non-official events where Floridians may be able to get together with the DNN team? Are there any out-of-town DNN Core team members here for the conference staying for the weekend?

I must say that Tech-Ed has been a truly awesome and eye opening experience. Getting to meet many long-time DNN users face to face has been great. So far we have met Stan Schultes, Russ Faustino, Imsoccrman, Yodaman and many many others. As for INETA, they have been very supportive of our efforts and truly see the great benefit that DNN provides to their User Group communities. Many, like Stan Schultes, have been out promoting DotNetNuke to all the regional user groups and we are actually hearing some great stuff about how people are using DotNetNuke. Hopefully we will have some photos to share soon. Scott has been taking pictures like crazy, that is whenever he can get Shaun to stop objecting to having all these pictures taken. Shaun is really a great guy and doesn't like getting shoved in the spotlight all the time, which made it even more of a hoot when the guys from INETA had a 100s of conference attendees shouting DotNetNuke as Shaun was drawing tickets during some raffle for a pocket PC.

If any of you are at Tech-Ed, stop by the INETA booth from 1:00-2:00 today for a DotNetNuke T-Shirt (limited quantity so come early) and maybe even a $5 off coupon on the new book (which by the way is selling really well at the show). I must say that WROX and Jim Minatel have been really helpful during this Tech-Ed to get the book to the show and to make sure we have time to promote it.

I have always done both VB.NET and C#. My employer wants me to code in VB.NET, but I started with Rainbow when DNN did not exist so I got opportunity to do a lot of C#. I really like both languages. Each has some great features.

I guess I got to be one of the lucky ones to meet the core team at TechEd. The BOF meeting was pretty cool. It was great to hear how things are going straight from the source. I was able to get one of those new cool DotNetNuke t-shirts. . I also got the new DotNetNuke Asp.NET Portals book autographed by the attending core team. It was great meeting the team and getting some questions answered. Keep up the good work!

I did not realize that Shaun, Scott and Joe would all be here at TechEd. It was a nice surprise to run into them during the INETA user group leader summit. Shaun and I met at PDC '03. It has been great to have a few minutes to chat with him again and also to meet Joe and Scott for the first time. Stan Schultes is another great guy I first met at PDC '03 and it has been nice to talk with him again as well. For those who do not know, I was part of the original Rainbow Portal core team. With the release of DNN 3 I have been building new sites on DNN and I love it. You guys have done a spectacular job!
