Hello, What a great community!!!. I had same issue using FTB with multiple page module from Bonosoft, was unable to format text even after selecting it.

I did exactly as per your instruction and problem solved. Now I can format the text inside Multiple page module.

I'm having a problem with FTB, too.....in association with a customvalidator (apparently).

I posted a query about the customvalidator, assuming that was the problem, but it was pointed out to me that all my error messages referred to freetextbox.

I did have the old version of FTB, and I downloaded the upgrade and put the files in the corresponding folders under bin and providers, but that, in my case didn't make any difference.   I still get the runtime error.

If I take the customvalidator tags out (code at that link above)...... the form accepts and saves data (assuming it's not a duplicate of what I was trying to validate). If I put the customvalidate back and run the Speerio dnndebug utility, I get an error that refers to FTB below.

I have finished the new version of my Advanced FTB Provider for DNN 3.1.0 today.

The Advanced FTB Provider contains the actual version 3.0.5000.3 of FreeTextBox DLL. (DNN 3.1.0 contains still the old version 3.0.5000.1.)

I have made now some additional changes to the advanced ftp provider.

With the spceial version of ftp provider it is possible to setup the texteditor so, that everybody is able to make image uploads, delete images, creates subdirs and delete subdirs, who has the permission to access the FTB editor.

The options will be disabled/enabled in the web.config.

Use these fetaure at your own risk.

If anybody is interessted on the special version of ftb provider send me an email. After that I will send the ftb provider with a short description via email.

I can sent you a special version of the Advanced Ftb Provider with some special settings in web.config.

I will not make a public download available before some people have tested the new provider extensions.

You may want to take a look at Olivers RADEditor provider source code, as the image upload/image management works great in that.

It is great to be able to upload an image/file right from editing the content of a module.

the upload feature for FTB is a permission isue and it is not so quiet simple to implement a robust feature.

I have already done some thougts about this isue.

Hello!

I've downloaded your file, Hans-Peter, and FTB works fine but I want my users to be able to upload files. Do I really have to recompile DNN myselft to get this? I know it is just settings but I don't want to for each version of DNN and FTB have to compile and copy files. Anyone having the latest files compiled with Hans-Peters enchantements? Could we get an option in web.config "allow uploads"?
