To expand a bit here is what we have working or are working to accomplish:

1. Import/Export of portal users.
2. Manage Users/Roles
3. PDF reports from various User/Role tables
4. User account maintenance
a. Accounts not accessed in 30 days - disable
b. Accounts not accessed in xx days - delete

Basically, we want to involve as many developers as we can to build a complete User/Role management system for DNN3.2.2. To expand to v4.0.2 as details get worked out. We have sites with 1000 or more users and managing users and roles is tedious at best.

Will post an example in a day or two.

Seems to me that this functionality already exists somewhere. Isn't there already a way to add users on the install of DNN?

Where this happens is the code you want to look at.

Can't remember off the top of my head where this resides though.

Well so far I managed to make dnn3 intgrate perfectly. Added about 12 triggers that monitor every part of the dnn database where a user might change profile password etc. If this is done than a special view with all userdata is read out and that is used to update our own system.

Now allt hsi works if its a new user. However now I need to be able to create users in dnn based ont he users we allready have in our excisting systems.

Has anyone ever done this or is there a method or function that could be used to make thiseasier. I would liek to run a bacth tool that takes a nr of user data from our ol system and automatically create users in the dnn portal.

Any help would be appreciated
