FTB can use either internal or external resources for both images or languages. We are using the external ones in the included FTB provider.

you will find them under the folders you mentioned earlier.

I just re-checked my portals and I have no problems with file manager or ftb3 editor. Do you have the same problems, if you switch language back to english? Note: you cannot delete english language, you can on´ly disable it per portal.

hi leupold,

i have reinstalled dnn in a fresh virtual directory and database. And for fresh installation i haven't touch any resource file or key.. So i dont think that i have an encoding problem.

I have just created a new "Türkçe (Türkiye)" locale, and these problems came out. Also i cannot find any resource file related with FTB? (Do i miss something). I think FTB has its resources and languages in the freetextbox.dll.

Do special characters in the locale's name, "ü" and "ç" cause this problem? OS regional and language settings are for Turkey.

Do you know how FTB gets the toolbarimages path?

I have done all the German localizations, but sorry, I did not encounter the errors decribed. are you using special characters, that my cause these problems? are you sure, all your localization files are encoded as utf-8?

hi all,

As soon as i have solved the tempdb collation problem which prevents correct installation on my machine, i have started to localize(Turkish/Turkey) my dnn installations. (thanks cathal for advising to check sqlprovider log files) I have dnn 3.2.1 on win2003 web server and 4.0.2 on my machine installed.

Problem 1. The FreeTextbox toolbar images do not appear correctly. When i checked the images location i have seen that "Providers\HtmlEditorProviders\Ftb3HtmlEditorProvider\ftb3\images" folder name changed to "Providers\HtmlEditorProviders\Ftb3HtmlEditorProvider\ftb3\ımages". So images don't appear except "clean ms word HTML" button. You can try it by creating a new Turkish locale. This is same both for 3.2.1, 4.0.1, 4.0.2 ....

Problem 2. File Manager doesn't work... (for only turkish locale)

There are many locales at DNN but neither of the locales except turkish cause problem for these modules. This is wondering me:)
