I know I am late getting to this post but..... Still catching up from the PDC.

I had a great time meeting everyone in person. Besides the fact that I had to get up at 5:00am to get downtown(yuk!!!) It was really fun to hear the voices that went with the posts ;) I hope to do it again soon. Maybe at the DNNDC 2006 (DotNetNuke Developers Conference)

Hah, let's not simplify our process to arrive at a sound architecure. It wasn't just three sugar packets, it was one sugar packet and two different sugar alternatives.

The breakfast on Wednesday September 14th at the Biltmore Hotel in downtown Los Angeles with the Core team and http://www.socaldug.org went great. Attending were:
Shaun Walker, Scott Willhite, Nik Kalyani, Dan Caron, Matt Fraser, Jim Duffy, John Mitchell, Jon Henning and Charles Nurse.

Also attending were Daniel Egan (Author of "Building Websites with VB.NET and DotNetNuke 3.0"), David Cohanoff and David McMullen. We all sat around a small table and we all ate the buffet. The setup was 12 chairs around a small table. The breakfast started at 7:30 am and broke up at 9:15 am. There were usually 3 conversations going on at any time.

The Core was very attentive to our questions. The highlight for me was watching a discussion of a proposed architectural design change to DotNetNuke using the sugar packets usually used for coffee.

Compatibility with ASP.NET 2.0 is turning out to be a big job and they have a number of things to work out. Other DotNetNuke enhancements discussed were possible workflow enhancements.
