Finaly I got the solution. It is the property of the Crystal Report as "Retain Original Image Color Depth" which is to be make enable.

Hi, Thank you.

As I told early in my post that my image size is 320 X 240, I tried by setting image control size equal to 320 X 240. Also the image format is jpeg. But till can't improve the image color quality.

Any other option?

But as I drag and drop the Byte[] column (which contain binary data of image) from Dataset into Crystal Report, it is the Blob Field control, which display image in Crystal Report. I tried its all properties, but did not get any information.

btough thanks for your post,

1. Set the image control as it is by the actual image size. or

2. Is it your image format is gif then change into JPEG and try to display this format image.

btough I'm not at my desk but i'm sure crystal report display the image in good clarity, so try to find in the Image control property.

Hi,

Thanks for reply. My original image size is - width=320 and height=240.

Though I change my Blob field object size to any value, it does not work to me.

I tried lot of things like, saved binary data as bmp and try to disply it into Picturebox control of the CR, but does not work. Decompressed the JPEG data and store it into bmp Byte[] and display this Byte[] into CR using dataset but it does not solve the problem. etc.

Does anybody have any idea or faced similar problem ?

Any help will be appreciated.

Try to adjust the height and width of the image object at design time.
